Trip update - we were able to Bless people

When we were in Bali we were able to bless a number of projects through the proceeds of our MACC Missions Day held at the end of Term 1.

Some of the ways we blessed people were:

  • contribute to help finish the bedrooms of young students who are unable to live at home and don;t have money to rent a room. This is at the "D-House" (Discipleship House) run by the C3 church in Denpasar.

  • Purchase, assemble and then give out 140 birthday gift packs for children involved 4 days per week in a Compassion project.

\

  • Purchase art supplies for a children's home (Balilife)

Purchase a bike so that a family of 3 young children can ride the 4km to The Compassion project 4 times a week.

Provide the funds to build a water
tank in a remote village so the family doesn't have to trek to and carry water from a creek over 1km away everyday

Lost but now found

The bag that didn't get on the plane has found its way to our front door.

Thank you Virgin!

Home!

How nice is your own bed! So blessed to have been looked after so well in Bali! Thanks everyone!

Finally home

After 3 extra days due to a volcanic ash cloud stopping flights, a brief window opened on Saturday night, praise God, to fly home via Perth. A few hours sleep at Zali's aunty's and we checked in for the final leg to Sydney.

Home in Sydney and still smiling after 24hrs of travel. Great team (Miss Lisa got out earlier on the 7th), and a tremendous experience.

Stranded on a tropical Island

At least it isn't desert. Or deserted.

Out of drama comes blessing

A lot of work and prayers by many has us coming home Saturday night via Perth.
Kids are relaxing and destressing in our villa pool. Thank you Covermore.
